Sensitive lips were always an issue for Rachel Rivera, the President of Vintage Beauty, Inc. While shopping one day she chose to buy a well known lip gloss that had been created to attract little girls. After applying, her lips began to burn. She checked the ingredients on the product and was dismayed to find that not one ingredient was of natural origin! Every ingredient listed was synthetic! After conducting extensive research she found that over time our bodies build up with toxins from synthetics ingested or applied topically, mostly due to the fact that our body’s natural functions cant digest synthetics. A study conducted demonstrated that if a woman was to start wearing lipstick by the age of 10, that by the age of 40 she could have potentially accumulated over 1 pound of lipstick in her abdomen – simply by licking her lips! How many times do you lick your lips per day? With that in mind, Rachel set out to make safe and fun lip care for the whole family.
